Child Care Aware of Missouri

Framework

Location: Missouri

Child care associations promote the education and well-being of children, families, and child care providers.

As an affiliate of Child Care Aware of America, Child Care Aware of Missouri (CCAM) shares the national organization's goals and beliefs. CCCAM work to provide access to quality child care to all families in the state of Missouri. To ensure that children succeed both in school and in the future, CCAM works to improve early education as well as after-school programs. CCAM as well as Child Care Aware of America, believe that by providing quality education to children from a young age, they will be prepared for great success academically as well as becoming participants of the global economy.

CCAM provides healthy, safe, and nurturing environments in both an educational setting as well as in after-school programs to enrich the lives and learning of children. The “can do” attitude of all members pairs with the value system CCAM works under. CCAM works to provide accountability and responsibility, data-informed decisions, leadership, authenticity and truth-telling, inclusivity and transparency, as well as mutual support.
